Drop in at our home page
The Nishinippon started providing information on the Internet from October 1996.
The articles are of course updated on a daily basis. Feature articles from the morning paper, and daily columns and editorials, are easy accessible.
The regional news section is especially popular among those away from Kyushu: major topics are selected from regional editions covering Fukuoka, Kitakyushu, Chikugo, Chikuho, Saga, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Oita, Miyazaki and Kagoshima. News bulletins for events like the Round-Kyushu Ekiden and All Japan High School Judo and Kendo Tournaments are up-to-the-minute. We will continue to expand our coverage, and make our home page even more interesting by adding information on the Nishinippon for job-hunters, and interesting articles on Kyushu.

Publications based on original plans
The Nishinippon publication division has published a number of books on the theme of Kyushu.
Many other works planned and published by the Nishinippon are scheduled to follow, including compilations of newspaper columns and campaign series.
Dedicated to regional social welfare
Nishinippon Shimbun Public Welfare Service (established 1950)
The Corporation was established in order to provide support for grass-root welfare programs.
The money raised at the Annual Year-End Fund Raising is put into use as subsidies or to purchase equipment for welfare institutions for children and the
elderly.

Yasuragi-so (established 1972)
Located in Yasumachi, Asakura-gun, Fukuoka Prefecture, this training and treatment facility helps the young disabled at home.
Since no funds are provided by the government, it is run entirely on voluntary donations collected through newspaper campaigns.
